The Neighborhood

Our neighborhood is located in South Buffalo, northeast of Cazenovia Park, and centering on Indian Church and Seneca Street.  At the neighborhood association’s first organizational meeting, it was decided to cover:

  • Seneca between Duerstein and Zittel (Indian Church side)
  • Fairview
  • Indian Church & Buffum (from Seneca to Parkview)
  • Parkview (all three blocks)

It is also the home of the Buffum House, South Buffalo’s oldest house, currently being restored.  The area was once the home of Red Jacket, and his place of rest before being moved to Forest Lawn Cemetary.
